I used it for a 2014 Mazda CX-5, after pairing it opens, closes, starts, and shuts off the engine; I didn’t notice any difference in range compared to the original. I registered it with xtool d8 through 2017, because if I set it to 2013-2016, the device would show an error.

It can’t be coded to an old third-party key which is what i wanted to do but the board of the old key fit in the new one so i guess it’s good
