Applicable engine variants may include:
• L3-DE
• L3-VE
• Other naturally aspirated L3-series 2.3L variants
Most naturally aspirated Mazda 2.3L MZR engines use 2 crank friction washers.
On many of these engines, the timing chain sprocket and oil pump sprocket are combined into a single sprocket assembly.
✅ Commonly requires 2 washers
⚠️ Confirm the required quantity before ordering
⚠️ The crankshaft pulley bolt must be replaced
⚠️ The crankshaft pulley bolt is torque-to-yield and must not be reused
🔥 Mazda MPS / Mazdaspeed 2.3 DISI Turbo Engines
Applicable engine:
• L3-VDT 2.3L DISI Turbo
Common applications include:
• Mazda 3 MPS BK
• Mazda 3 MPS BL
